I happen to donwload from The Pirate Bay a Filipino movie titled "Silip". This movie has sex connotation and I wonder how do Filipina actresses do bold movies during those years.

The movie has a great audio and video quality since it is a DVD rip version. To my surprise, the act was so real it seems I was watching a rated x movie. I never thought they did it that way!

I even asked myself, were there no regulating bodies during those times? Today, if too much skin has been shown in the movie, it will be immediately rated as x by the MTRCB. Are we more conservative today than the 80's?

The movie itself was beautiful but there were a lot of sexy scenes that really made me amused they had those movies during that time.

The film will be distributed by Columbia Pictures. Filming began in August 2008 in Vancouver, and is expected to be released worldwide on November 13, 2009.

Premise

The world is devastated by a cataclysm in the year 2012, leaving survivors to struggle for their lives. The film is inspired by several hypotheses that state the ancient Mayans predicted a doomsday event will occur sometime around the 2012 solstice. The original basis for this comes from the end of the current cycle in the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar, on December 21, 2012.

Production

Director Roland Emmerich and composer-producer Harald Kloser co-wrote a spec script titled 2012, which was marketed to major studios in February 2008. Nearly all studios met with Emmerich and his representatives to hear the director's budget projection and story plans, a process that the director had previously gone through with the films Independence Day (1996) and The Day After Tomorrow (2004).

The film was shopped around with a production budget of $200 million. Later in the month of February, Sony Pictures Entertainment won the rights for the spec script and will distribute it under Columbia Pictures. The studio plans to make the film for less than the estimated budget.

Filming was originally scheduled to begin in Los Angeles, California, in July 2008, but instead commenced in Vancouver in August 2008. Due to the possible 2008 Screen Actors Guild strike, filmmakers set up a contingency plan for salvaging the film. Sony Pictures Imageworks was hired to create visual effects for 2012.

Hotel For Dogs

Orphaned siblings Andi (Emma Roberts) and Bruce (Jake T. Austin), who have been forced to hide their ownership of their beloved dog, Friday, as they move from one foster home to another, secretly turn a closed hotel into a home for Friday and any other strays they can find. They are joined by a guy named Dave (Johnny Simmons) and a girl named Heather (Kyla Pratt) both of whom work at a pet store and Dave and Andi have crushes on each other. They are later joined by a kid who lives nearby named Mark (Troy Gentile), who likes Heather, although she does not return the feelings. Andi and Bruce are given a chance to move from the foster home they hate to a new one that is a few hours away. They decline as they care too much about the dogs to abandon them.

The kids rescue many dogs, but one night while Andi and Dave are at a party, Bruce's inventions that he built to help take care of the dogs fail and they go wild and cause so much noise that the cops are called. The dogs are taken to a pound and Bruce and Andi's dog-hating foster parents kick them out and as their social worker Bernie (Don Cheadle) cannot find them a new home that will take them both, they are sent to separate foster homes. The pound prepares to put the dogs down, but Friday escapes and gets Dave.

The two reunite all of the kids and they decide to save the dogs despite the fact that they are going to get in big trouble. They break the dogs out of the pound and try to lead them over the county line to an animal shelter there that has a no kill policy, but as the dogs get close to the hotel, they turn and run there as that is their home. The kids and a massive crowd of people follow. At first Animal Control tries to take them back, but Bernie, having seen what the kids did, makes a speech in favor of the dogs as the kids rescued so many strays and gave them a home, something he had been trying to do with the kids he dealt with.

With donations from the people of the city the hotel ends up fixed up and turned into an actual hotel for dogs named The Hotel For Dogs. The kids all work there, Andi and Dave start going out, and Mark starts to win Heather over. Bernie and his wife end up adopting Andi and Bruce and let them keep Friday who they had to hide from all of their foster parents.

Ron and Hermione's friendship takes a toll throughout the school year and Harry, as usual, is stuck in the middle. Harry, meanwhile, is facing a romantic dilemma of his own: he realizes he is falling for his best friend's sister, Ginny Weasley, who is unfortunately dating Harry's classmate, Dean Thomas. Harry's pining for Ginny and Ron's hilarious relationship with Lavender give this story a large dose of reality.

Throughout all the school drama, however, the obvious darkness of Voldemort's impending rise to power is always apparent.
